1st Christmas

Dad and mom took me to Bkt Tinggi during the weekends before Christmas, since mom don't get to apply leave, we have a pre-Christmas celebrations there. It was a nice weather, and lucky no rain during the raining season then. I try to make myself staying alert through out the journey, and i saw lots of trees, greens.. and horses too!!! everything are so new to me, we went rabbit patting in the rabbit farm, and ha i kicked them instead!!! I have some fun with the koi fish in the Japanese garden and and on the way back in my pram, i acually fell asleep ! with my head on the tray! TOO TIRED!!

After a nap, ma ma and po po brought me out for a stroll, there's a clown and gave me a little green doggy made out of a long shape balloon, and there's lot of people and performances too ...pretty "happening", oh and did i say i like the water fountain very much, whenever we walked pass the fountain, I will sure saying "hi" to it, and finally po po helped us to take a photo in front of the water fountain.

and you know what, the Christmas band actually sang me a couple of nursery rhymes instead of the christmas songs ... and i was just so enjoying myself into their songs ...ha ha!! and everyone was looking at me too !! ho ho ho ho !!

8th month

ha! ... I'm 8-month old now ...

I love to EAT .. porridge with carrots, broccoli, potato, bread, yogurt, FISH (yeah i like it), apple, banana, biscuit, hmmm ...basically i want to eat whatever mom or grandma are eating too .... even though i have just eaten a while ago ... oh ... do you know the nestle teething biscuits are just awesome, i can take TWO at a time!

I can take 8oz of milk every 3 hours after each meal ... err.... i just donno why i have such good appetite ...

I can pull myself up to sitting posture from my tummy-down position, and ha! I can sit .... with NO help la.... but then grandma always scare i will fall, so she always keep her eyes on me

I can move from one place to another place very fast ... err... i'm still trying to master the RIGHT way to crawl .... i thought "caterpillar-ing" will be so much faster, and you could imagine how fast i can "RUN" from my walker!

.... ha, my5th and 6th teeth are showing sign to come out... gheee ... mom said "why so fast??!?!?" and she always try to pull my upper lip up in order for her to take photo, but i'm smart enough to "PROTEST"!

I know what is fan, TV, air-cond, chair (the white sofa only), light (the wall light at the staircase), elephant, bird and dog ... oh and my favorite duck duck too

I also love TV nowadays, my favorites are the nursery rhymes and i could just sit there watching with no "NOISE"!!!

Learning to sit

7th month

Ha! I can basically sit, but i could still fall as I'm still learning how to control my body when i'm trying to lean forward or to the sides, yeah right...i always fall to my back co'z mom will always catch me from my back :)

I'm having cereal for my lunch, it always took me about an hour to finish it, yeah ... i hate the original flavor! I want more flavor please.... Mom was trying to give me carrot porridge, errmm ... i HATE it ! probably she needs to consider "sweeten" it", hehehe ... Mom also gave me teething biscuit to chew now, and i love it so much, but please make sure i don't choke on it ya...

I learn to "fall" forward these days, ha.. meaning rather than reaching "away" from my toy and i could reach out for them now whenever mom try to put them bout a foot in front of me, (if she put too far, i will just cry out loud and instead of me getting it, mom will have to get it for me.... hohho ... nice tactic right !! ;)) I will "slide" myself like a caterpillar (first move both my legs in like a dog pose, then move my body back and forth trying to swing it forward, then put my head down then drop my body forward) Sometimes i got too excited that i slapped my whole body on the ground but not moving a single inch :P hmm ... let see if later mom able to catch me in action with her camera.

I feel that i'm not really gaining much weight these days, still having 240ml and sometimes 250ml at night, not sure if causing from teething? and ya .. my top-front teeth are getting out, and i drool more and bite more these days; or is it because i got so active with lots of kicking and "crawling" that burns more calories ? *whispering: I'm not quite able to fit into my pants, guess i'm growing a bit taller too... *

I learn to utter a few words which only recognized only by ME !!! right, I basically "arrmmm loud loud" when time for milk, "arrmmmm + looking outside" when want to go for a walk, "eehmmmmm loud" when want to pooh, and "eehhmmmm softer" when want to pee, and some other funny voices and yet to be discovered, i'm getting really "noisy" these days, that was how mom put it her way, to me, i just like to talk and sing too .... just that they don't understand what i was talking about ... people please learn to understand me more!!!

I like to smile, i'm good in making faces too ... check this out ....

6th Month

yeahhhhhhh .... I'm basically good in rolling over and over and over now, kakak called it "berguling-guling" and i thought it's pretty fun doing it :) basically i could sleep at one side of the bed and later you could find me sleeping at the end of the bed...Mom gonna put me back to the crib soon before i fall out of the bed like WZ.

I have started my yummy cereal about a week ago and yeah i like it a lot, but it always ended up the cereal all over my face....... oh yah .... i like to "blow" cereal too! sometimes it ended up on mom's face too!

I can CRAWL backwards hmmmm ...... I wonder if anyone start crawling backwards in the beginning too ??!?!?? probably sliding will be more applicable here ...


I'm drooooollllll so so so so much ..... and I like to BITE, be it my fingers, mom's fingers, teething toy, or what so ever now .... yeah .... i have TEETH!!!! hohohohohoho ........ now at least when i smile, people can see my teeth ...hehehhe not like the previous month, when smile, see no teeth and see no eyes .... hahahah ...
yeah ... i'm pretty lazy to hold my own bottle during feeding time, normally mom or grandma will hold for me.... gosshh .... tired now...someone please hold the bottle for me please....

Basically, i loves to play ... and DON'T want to sleep ..... so please please please play with me !!! :*

I could never get the remote control ... GIVE IT TO ME!!!

My first trip

Mom having the idea to visit Jeremy gor gor on the merrr....d.e.ka... day, since is a holiday so all of us can have our first family trip **with ME !!!

yeah ... I don't really sleep in the journey to Melacca and thank goodness that the traffic is not too bad so i played with grandma and kakak along the journey. We went to the famous Red Houses, A' Famosa, St Paul Church and the Jonker's street and hey ... I was awake all the time looking at things around me ler !!

One thing i don't understand, mom, dad, and aunty CP keep eating through out the trip, hey aren't you guys should be like me every 4 - 4.5 hours, one feeding????? and Melacca popo also keep cooking, lunch, then donuts then fried cempedak.... wah .... no wonder dad and mom got sick after this trip ... :( the moral of the story, please don't eat too much during the trip, be like me, eat proper meal on time!!!

5th Month

heheh .... mommy put me sitting on the chair .... i'm falling...i'm falling....

Yeahhh ... i'm 5th month old now... can you differentiate the 5-month old me and the previous ones ? let's see what can i do now:


1. I'm able to grab things in front of me with just one try now, i used to catch "air" last time unless grandma or mom place them in my hands and i got so excited whenever i got something in my hand and the next thing you know is they all ended up in my mouth.

2. Believe it or not, I drool so much that any place that i've been too will sure traceable !!

3. ha! I also drink a lot now, I can finish up 210 - 220 ml milk in about 4 to 4.5 hours, but grandma scare i drink too much, so she normally feed me water between every feeding, so i can stay full till next feeding. Wonder how much i weight now :-? (yeah...this month no check up appointment, gotta wait till Oct)

4. I still moving backward while putting in my walker

5. I can briefly sit (of course needs some support), mom put me sitting in the car seat when i'm not wanting to sleep (*normally i sit and sleep in my bouncer during day time) so i could play a while.

6. I know how to reach out for things that interest me too, e.g. plastic bag, papers, bells, or whatever things make sound...hheheheh

7. I still can't crawl yet, but able to leave my bum up (macam caterpillar), just the head not able to move forward... hmmm soon... soon ....

I'm a "joey"

Mom said she got tired carrying after 15 mins and she happened to came across a carrier last Sat in Mid Valley and she thought it's kinda cool that the carrier can be "transform" into a sling bag to carry diapers or bottle later when i grow up a little later, so there .... i'm ended up in it like a "joey"

Mom still not really pro in "handling" me in the pouch, hmmm ...i guess she needs some help before fracturing me with it.

This is when after about 2-day of "no-toys" to play when I was back in Teluk Intan and after a long journey home I got so excited to play with my toys again ....

.... yeah .... very excited ....

.... and hey ..... how come no one comes and play with me !!! I'm getting bored playing alone now .... hellloooooooooooooooooooooooo ......

.... ok ...somebody and i mean SOMEBODY better play with me now....else i'm gonna SCREAM really really really LOUD !!!!

My new toy

yeah ... uncle Johnny bought me a walker and mom straight away put me in it .... hmmm although my feet are barely touch the floor ... yeah ... i'm short :P

hmm .... it takes a while for me to figure out how this "toy" works, and slowly when i move my legs i feel my body moves too ...aha ... let me put on the reverse gear first so i can go backward hahahahah .....

hmm ... i guess the little steering looks yummy ....

4th Month

yeah ....I've been practicing my roll over and now I really good at it... then i still learning how to move forward or backward or any direction as long as it's not remain in one spot ... hmmm ....

I'm getting more playful now and i like mom to play "peek-a-boo" with me and i also start giggling when everyone playing with me, ahhahaha ... see me giggling in the video below captured by mom.

I can sleep longer hours now at night, normally will woke up around 4 or 5 a.m. for just one feed after the last feed at around 10p.m. oh yah .... i'm having 6.5 oz now ... hohohoho ..... great appetite huh !

Mom put me on a walker brought from mom's elder brother .... and yeah ..... i like it so much, hmm .... but i always go backward and i wonder why ?!??!?? but it is good for my daily exercise now at least, you see aunty CP said i'm getting heavier and i'm wearing koko Jeremy's one-year-old clothes now... :P need to start keeping fit now !!

whoever needs this for "smiley don't-mess-with-me" sign of the day, this may be a good idea to do so .... ;)

My New Hair Cut

"po po" came to pay a visit the other day and trim my hair as well ... guess what, i've been turning my head when she was trying to cut and i can feel she was shivering and everyone was worry that she will accidentally cut my scalp ... *pheewwww.... * though it takes a long time...but finally i got a more tidy hair now.... ahhaha ... no more dragon ball hair style :)

3rd Month

I can roll over now and i got frustrated when i only manage to roll half way (with my one hand stuck under my chest) then i will shut out for help! But I'm pretty good in rolling over, I just need to swing my left leg over to the right side and move a bit of my right arm ... and there it goes, i'm on my tummy now... hohohoho .... guess soon enough i will learn to sit :)

I went for my jab the other day and have the regular measurements and guess what, i'm now weight 7.58 kg and 58.3cm in length ... guess the 5oz of milk every 4 hours really helps a lot in my active growing stage huh hmm ... still not much different in length, guess i need to work out more often now.

I like watching TV nowadays, any tv programs or series, you named it, I will be able to tell you the stories if you learn my language...ahahah ...

I'm try to pose for mom to take photo ... but errr... my stomach is kinda not feeling well now... fast fast take the shot weyy ... before i start crying. ...

...Finger nails trimming session....

My finger nails grow so fast that every two or three days i need my finger nails to be trimmed, but mom always do it during the weekends as she doesn't want to do it at night when she got back from work, so I need to wear my mittens on the 4th day as grandmas scared I will scratch myself.



Mom always wait till i fall asleep then will cut my finger nails for me, somehow i like to move my hands when i was asleep too ... so that could be quite a challenging task for mom ;) and it could ended up like this !!!!!

I'm naked !

OK .. i guess this is the very first time i "expose" myself ... won't do this again as i still donno how to tell mom "Don't" !

My favorite time of the day is shower time...ehheeh as mom let me play in the water and it just feel so good after a sweaty sleep at night.

I like being massaged with baby oil and i just don't like people touching my head, no combing, no facial cream, no mouth wash pleaseeeeeeeeee!

Waaaassssaaaaaaaaaaaaaap ! I got this little cap from some aunties or uncles during my baby shower and mom thought it was too big for me that time so i couldn't have a chance to try on it till recently mom wants to take me out for a stroll and thought it could be better to wear a cap or hat so she helps me try on this cap .... hohoho ... so cool and you know what I feel the cap is pretty tight for my head now ... guess mom will need to buy me another one soon ... :P

new sucking style

I have a new sucking style too, i can suck my upper lips and make quite a big sucking sound outr of this ... everyone sees me sucking like this, they all cry-laughing .... oh well ... not caring too much of my image now .... can you do this too ???

I found it very tempting to suck my own fingers these days and I love messing up my fingers and mittens with saliva .... yum yum ....

Somehow, i wonder why i couldn't put my whole hands in... that could be fun !

My grann"ies"

June 2nd, Dad and Mom brought me back to mom's hometown to see great-grandpa and great-grandmom. Great-grandpa likes to see me and always talk to me in some kind of language that i found it is quite weird ... hahahah ... Great-grandpa looks fierce to me, and he talked so loud! But i don't dare to cry in front of him as you can see i only 扁嘴 hehehe ...

I took a nice picture with my great-grandma when i was about 2 weeks old. You see, i was quite a "little" that time! Great-grandma likes to call me "utu-lee" that time as i was quite dark and not smiling at all :)

I can recognize 外婆 voice now, co'z her voise is so loud and clear ... yeah ... so loud till she always wake me up from my sleep :P










婆婆 likes to talk to me and making all kind of sound, she bath me when mom not around and she always by my side reading newspaper or watch TV. Oh yeah .... when it is time for her favorite movie series, i can be totally ignored too ! SO i got to watch the movie too or i will just shout to get attention.








I think i'm spoilt !

2nd Month

I'm growing fast ... i can finish 4oz of milk every 3 hours and i'm now weight 6.48kg and it's kinda hard for me to fit into most shirts that i've got from my cousin Jeremy, mom bought me a few new shirts and from the hampers gave from friends and relatives during my baby shower .... (however i still can fit into my pants ... guess i'm growing horizontally but not vertically :P) and for those who would like to buy me shirts, try those for 6-12 months baby and i'm now wearing M size diapers ... hehehehhe

I start to smile when i was around 5th week and start drooling towards the end of 8th week ... and yes I start sucking my own tumbs hahahaah .... yummy ... and sometimes i suck so loud that both grandmas (mom's and dad's) laugh at me

I went for my first jab (errrr... consider my 3rd i think .... ) and i hated it ... i bet you don't want to hear my loud crying noise again, i can make others start crying too .... hohohohoho

Cooing is my hobby now, i just like to talk and sometimes grandma(s) got so tired talking back to me ... hohoho ... they seem not understanding what i'm talking about.... sometimes i was singing and yet they like interupt me ....

Oh i got curious when mom and dad brought me to shopping malls, or friends or relatives' house .... just too many new things around me which makes me too busy looking around and i'm happy to go out every weekends when dad is free.

Mom going back to work soon and i will have less time spending with her and probably i start to learn to recognize phone ringing sound so i know when mom calls back when she is at work later.

..... mom said she can hardly see my neck ... heheheheheh .... may be i should start doing some exercise or else later people will start calling me "fei chai" 肥仔 :(

1st Smile

I have been a cool baby for a while and i thought it can be boring when mom and dad trying so hard to play with me ... so i decided to throw them back with a nice smile so that they will keep playing with me.

Later, I found smiling is fun too, I learn to smile when grandma(s) talk to me; yeah one grandma speaks in English and another grandma speaks in Mandarin ( with louder voice), they both like to talk to me and I learn talking to them too .... they make faces sometimes ahahaha what a good entertainment after my full meals everytime... I smile whenever i heard "aun-ger" too ... and hey i can say "aun-ger" back too !

I like to smile when mom shakes my legs and tickles me. I smile when dad talking to me, he likes to make faces too. With my smiles, i've made everyone else happy, that's my mission now and i enjoy it :)

1st Month

Let's see ... what has been a routine during my first month ...

1. I sleep a lot. However i also wake up a lot too; I couldn't sleep for longer hours, normally after feeding or even during feeding I will fall asleep.

2. I cry a lot. I scare of being alone, so i cry when i don't hear anyone around, i cry when i'm hungry, thirsty, too hot, too cold, wet in diapers, hmm ... i just like to cry ....

3. I drink a lot. Basically, i just like to drink.

4. I don't really poo so frequently ... at first i poo twice a day, but later the month i poo only once a day.... hmm ... i thought i drink a lot but not really poo frequently.

5. I don't smile. Guess i'm a cool person.

1st Week

This is my signature sleeping post. Tell you what, never try to correct my sleeping post, I hated it and I will cry till no one touch my head !!!

Yeah .... i have lots of hair ... DON'T you dare shave my hair !!! I was having hard time open up my eyes as those yellow sticky disharge just too annoying and mom always clean my eyes and it is so m uch better after that. Now the million dollar question .. WHO DO I LOOK LIKE? ehheheheh

My nails grow so fast that i even scratch myself with it. Mom was trying so hard to trim my little finger nails as I moved a lot and it gives mom 10x harder to cut them. I hate wearing the mittens as it always make my hands sweat and no one can see my pretty hands ;)

1st Day

My name is Lee Jay Rel, 李家乐. 3rd April 2007, I finally out to see the world and i was weighted 3.3kg. Daddy was the first to hold me and I couldn't see my mom till the next morning and she was exhausted going thru almost 10 hours labour and yet still need to suffer being "open-up" on the operating table as my heart-beat was dropping.



OK .... my voice is so loud that i wake everyone up in the baby's room. I left for mom's home on 5th April to see my grandma, great-grandma and my great-grandpa.

...and YES, I do cry a lot ...... even in dad's arm.
